DJ - The first time we heard 'DJ' we were hooked. It's a totally infectious, brilliant pure pop tune. You get the feeling that if STEPS were to have continued this tune would have cropped up somewhere along the line. It's extremely Steppy but it's production is slicker and it's result is a more polished and mature sound. H & Claire have amazing voices, H was criminally underused in STEPS, and so we're looking forward to hearing more of him as a duo with Claire. We reckon this track could follow in the footsteps of One For Sorrow and Love's Got A Hold On My Heart and become the summer pop anthem of 2002. It really deserves to be a huge hit of the No.1 variety, but whether or not it will be is another matter. It'll definately be top 5 and H & Claire really deserve this to do well. Let's keep our fingers crossed and this could be a hit of gigantic proportions! Rating:*****
Half A Heart - This is the follow up track to their brilliant debut DJ,and they always say that it's the second single that really proves how good you are. Well H & Claire are most definately worth their weight in gold to their record comapny, because this track is fabulous. The vocals are superb and show just how talented this poptastic pair really are. The chorus is infectiously catchy and after just one listen we were all singing along...'Half a heart to love youuuu, got half a mind to leave youuuu'... Classic pop at it's best, this track is excellent and it really leaves you desperate in anticipation for the album which will be relesed in November! Pure pop with a twist of genius from the dynamic duo is what this song is and we can't get enough of it!
