FA Cup Classics Cardiff Arms Park - Now I'm not really a fan of opera and classical music I'm more of a pop and disco guy myself, but when I heard that the delectable Ms Faye Tozer would be appearing on the bill of the BBCs FA Cup Classics Show at the Cardiff Arms Stadium I thought I'd bag myself a ticket and go watch the lady they used to call Smiley Steps transfer herself into Soprano Steps. Faye was singing her duet, 'Someone Like You' with Manchester opera star, Russell Watson. And they didn't fail to dissapoint. Faye, who was an angelic vision of golden blonde curls and a dress of flimsy purple fabric, strode out onto the stage and began to belt out what I hope will be a huge hit single for her. She was fabulous and performed the track live with a huge orchestra, Faye never dissapoints in live shows, ever since I first heard singing 'Since You Took Your Love Away', way back on their first arena tour in 1999 I knew she was a real star and a talent that this country should be proud of. Whatever musical directions she takes one things for sure this lady can sure hold a tune, whether it's pop or classical Faye can cut it live and that takes talent.
